New FaceTime features in iOS 15

Live Text will be identified and retrieved from photos using on-device intelligence. You can use a whiteboard or even handwritten notes to record information. Names and phone numbers on store signs, as well as recipe instructions, may simply be selected and copied to another app or sent to search or translate. Photos in your library will be scanned automatically as well. When iOS 15 is released, Live Text will support seven languages, including Chinese. On-device intelligence can recognize a variety of items and scenarios, including dog breeds, flower types, famous works of art, literature, pets, and landmarks.

Photo Memories has the ability to turn captured moments into moving movies. Apple Music users will be able to put their memories to their own music. Users can choose from a list of relevant customized tunes, or they can create their own. Memories movies are made on the spot, and they're both interactive and editable. Transitions, filters, and a variety of other options are available.

New Search features in iOS 15

The spotlight in iOS 15 now allows you to search for photographs and text in photographs. People, scenes, locations, and elements can all be used to reference photos. It can be used to locate a photo of a receipt, handwritten note, recipe, or screenshot. Rich results for contacts in search now include call, text, FaceTime, and email shortcuts, as well as their location if shared through Find My, as well as annotated calendar events, notes, and files. New rich results have been added for actors, musicians, television shows, and movies.

New Wallet, Maps, and Weather features in iOS 15

Apple Wallet will support Ultra Wideband position-aware location, allowing users to unlock and drive their automobile without ever having to remove their iPhone from their bag or pocket. With a variety of partners for locks and access systems already on board, you'll soon be able to open your house and tap to enter hotels or offices. Over 1,000 Hyatt hotels across the world will allow zero-contact access later this year, which can be activated before you even arrive.

Users will be able to swipe and explore an interactive globe in Apple Maps. London, Los Angeles, and New York City, among other large worldwide cities, are obtaining considerably more accurate maps for commercial districts, marinas, and notable buildings. Elevation representation, road colors, and hundreds of custom-designed landmarks have all been added. A new nighttime mode will show areas with a moonlit glow. More granular road details will help drivers better see and understand turn lanes, medians, crosswalks, etc. Maps will also render complex interchanges and intersections in 3D.

The Weather app is getting a new update with fresh data and layouts that change based on situations like rain or air quality, with thousands of different images to choose from. Users will be able to better understand wind, UV, and barometric pressure data thanks to new visualizations. Temperatures, precipitation, and air quality will be displayed on full-screen high-resolution weather maps.
